    CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced on Monday morning and Augusta University senior Maggie Ashmore, juniors Charlotte Alran and Linda Lundqvist, and sophomore Teresa Diez-Moliner made the list.

    MADRID, Spain – Augusta University 2019-20 women’s golf freshman, Maria Villanueva, won the Individual Women’s Spanish Championship on Wednesday, May 29 at Club de Campo Villa de Madrid in Madrid, Spain. Villanueva was the only player to finish under par in the field of 117 competitors and won the tournament by nine strokes at 8-under-par.

    EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Augusta University women’s golf team finished the 2018-19 season on Wednesday afternoon at the NCAA East Lansing Regional at Forest Akers West Golf Course. Making their eighth trip all time to the NCAA Tournament and the third trip in four seasons under current head coach Caroline Hegg, the Jaguars shattered school records this season, but missed a trip to the NCAA Championships.

    EAST LANSING, Mich. – The Augusta University women’s golf team shot a 302 (+14) on Monday in round one of the NCAA East Lansing Regional at Forest Akers West Golf Course and are in 11th place in the 18-team field. Augusta is eight shots out of an advancing spot to the NCAA Championships with two more days to play.

    ATHENS, Ga. – The Augusta University women’s golf team finished runner-up at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Saturday afternoon, after falling to No. 12 South Carolina, 3-2, in the championship match at UGA Golf Course. Augusta won the stroke play portion at 2-over-par on Thursday and blew by No.7 Florida and No. 5 Arkansas in the match play quarterfinal and semifinal.
  • Jaguars Beat Florida & Arkansas, Advance To Match Play Finals At Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic

    ATHENS, Ga. – The Augusta University women’s golf team beat No. 7 Florida in the match play quarterfinals and rolled past No. 5 Arkansas in the semifinal round on Friday at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic. Augusta is atop the leaderboard and faces No. 12 South Carolina in the match play finals beginning at 9:30 a.m. EST at the University of Georgia Golf Course.
  • Augusta Tied For First Through Stroke Play At UGA

    ATHENS, Ga. – The Augusta University women’s golf team is tied for first with No. 37 Kennesaw State at 2-over-par after the first round of stroke play on Thursday at the Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic in Athens, Ga. The event started with 18 holes of stroke play and continues Friday and Saturday with match play at the University of Georgia Golf Course. Augusta faces No. 7 Florida beginning at 8:00 a.m. off hole No. 1.
  • Augusta Ties For Eighth At Clemson Invitational

    SUNSET, S.C. – The Augusta University women’s golf team tied with Florida State and Virginia Tech for eighth place on Tuesday afternoon in the Clemson Invitational at The Reserve at Lake Keowee. The event was scheduled for three days of stroke play, but round three was suspended due to inclement weather on Tuesday.

The Jaguars ended their home event 3-over-par, with juniors Charlotte Alran and Linda Lundqvist leading the team in a tie for fifth place individually.

    BOULDER CITY, Nev. – The Augusta University women’s golf team flew to fabulous Las Vegas for the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown and finished in third place overall for its best finish of the young season. Augusta shot 18-under-par (846) at Boulder Creek Golf Club and posted the lowest 54-hole total in school history, while junior Charlotte Alran turned in a 65 (-7) for the lowest single-round score ever for the Jaguars.
