  • Augusta Finishes Season In Sixth At NCAA Southeast Regional

    WINGATE, N.C. ? The Augusta University women?s cross country team took sixth out of 23 teams on Saturday morning at the NCAA Southeast Regional to cap off an outstanding season. Augusta was top 10 all season long and finished first or second in five of six races.

  • Jaguars Finish Second At PBC Championships

    FORT BENNING, Ga. – The Augusta University women’s cross country team raced the 2017 Peach Belt Conference Championships on Saturday and finished in second place at Fort Gordon Army Base on Stewart-Watson Field. Augusta senior Lara Way finished third overall and ran the fastest 5K in school history, AU rookie Micah Weathers was named the PBC Freshman of the Year, and a total of three Jags were named All-PBC.

    FORT BENNING, Ga. – Finishing top two in all four regular-season races, the Augusta University women’s cross country team is prepared for the postseason that starts Saturday, Oct. 21 with the Peach Belt Conference Championships in Fort Benning, Ga. Columbus State University will host the meet at the Fort Benning Army Base on Stewart-Watson Field.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – With the 2017 Championship just days away, the Peach Belt Conference has released the 2017 women's cross country All-Academic team. Augusta University had four named to the list in seniors Diana Petrmichlova and Lara Way, junior Macy Hayes, and sophomore Rachel Hammesfahr.

    MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Augusta University women’s cross country team posted a second-place showing at the Bobcat Invitational, hosted by Georgia College, on Friday night at The Farm. Augusta has finished top two in all four meets this season.

  • Micah Weathers Earns Peach Belt Runner of the Week

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University women’s cross country freshman Micah Weathers was named the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Week after winning the Jaguar Cross Country Challenge on Sept. 9. The Peach Belt announced the award from their league offices in Augusta, Ga., Tuesday Thursday afternoon.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's cross country team repeated at their home event and won the 2017 Jaguar Cross Country Invitational on the Flowing Wells Campus of the Episcopal Day School. Augusta hosted a women’s 5K with six teams and the Jaguars placed seven runners in the top 10. Augusta freshman Micah Weathers won the individual title.

Augusta will race a men's 8K and women's 5K for the second year in a row at the Jackson Cross Country Course and Trails on the Flowing Wells Campus of Episcopal Day School.
