    AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head men’s and women’s cross country coach Adam Ward gained three new student-athletes in the National Letter of Intent (NLI) early signing period. The Jaguars signed freshman Miranda Taylor to the women’s squad while the men picked up freshmen Walker Inman and Chandler Kennedy for the 2017 season.

    NEW ORLEANS, La. – Augusta University cross country freshman Pricilla Cartwright, sophomore Daniel Broadhead, and junior Dylan Forester were named All-Region by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday morning. All-Region honorees for NCAA Division II Cross Country were recognized following the weekend’s NCAA regional championships meets around the country.

    MONTEVALLO, Ala. – The Augusta University women’s cross country team made their 10th team appearance in the last 12 years at the NCAA Southeast Regional on Saturday morning and earned seventh place out of 27 teams in the 6K race at the Montevallo XC Course. The team finished top 10 in every race this year and the regional finish was the best for the Jaguars in the last five years.

    AUGUSTA, Ga. – At the conclusion of the 2016 Peach Belt Conference Championship on Oct. 22 in Milledgeville, the top 15 runners were named to the All-Conference squad. Augusta University women’s cross country junior Lara Way took 10th place to earn All-Conference and Pricilla Cartwright was the first finishing freshman in 11th place to be named All-Conference and the PBC Freshman of the Year.

Augusta crossed the finish line first in the 6K out of six teams as junior Lara Way won the individual title for her second victory on the year.
