PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. – The Augusta University women’s golf team began its second tournament of the spring season with 36 holes in the Central District Invitational at St Lucie Trail Golf Club. Augusta is in third place out of 14 teams with one more round to play on Tuesday.

RIO GRANDE, Puerto Rico – The Augusta University women’s golf team wrapped the first event of the 2017 season on Tuesday at the Lady Puerto Rico Classic. The Jaguars finished in 12th place at 42-over par in the 15-team field.

KIAWAH ISLAND, S.C. – With an eighth-place showing at the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Tuesday, the Augusta University women’s golf team wrapped up their fall schedule. The Jaguars have finished in the top 10 in all five events so far this season. Augusta shot 898 (+34) in the 20-team field at Turtle Point Golf Club after 54 holes of play.

GREENVILLE, N.C. – The Augusta University women’s golf team completed the Greenville Regional Preview on Tuesday afternoon and improved by seven strokes to take second place at Brook Valley Golf Club. It is the lowest finish for the Jaguars this fall and is the fourth top-five finish for the team on the season.

AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University announced JP van der Walt as the new assistant coach for the women's and men's gold programs on Wednesday afternoon. JP van der Walt, from Plettenberg Bay, South Africa, comes from a golf family with ties to the PGA Tour and has experience coaching in the NCAA.

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) All-American Scholars were announced on Tuesday morning with a total of 828 women’s collegiate golfers recognized with the prestigious honor. Augusta University freshman Cecilia Diez Moliner and junior Josefine Nyqvist made the list for the Jaguars.
